     James Sheldon was born in 1886.¹

     James Sheldon was married to Edith Grace on Saturday, 9 February 1918 at St. Michael's Church, Holbrook, Derbyshire, #231 - James Sheldon, 32, Widower, Miner of Holbrook, son of Joseph Sheldon, Framewrok Knitter & Edith Grace, 33, Spinster of Holbrook, daughter of Joseph Grace, Labourer. By Banns. Witnessed by Alfred Grace and John William Bailey.¹

     James Sheldon died on Thursday, 12 January 1939,"aged 52 years."

     He was buried in The Churchyard, Holbrook.
