     He was buried in Nottingham Road Cemetery, Derby on Sunday, 2 December 1951.4

     I can just remember my Great grandad, being taken to see him and watching him at work. He lived at 40 Colvile Street, Derby when my grandad was born in 1893 and (I think) after the war. My grandad and nanna Godlington gave their address as Colvile Street when they married. He was in the Sherwood Foresters.
