     The 1881 U.K.Census  listed her as a daughter of the Head of Household - John Holloway, at High Street, Hartshorne, Derbyshire, who is recorded as -
          John Holloway M 26 M Hollington, Derby, England     Rel: Head     Occ: Bricklayer.2
     Lavinia's entry for the 1881 Census was recorded as -
          Lavinia B. Holloway 2m F Woodville, Derby, England     Rel: Daur.2

     Lavinia Blanche Holloway accompanied John Holloway and immigrated to Australia on 23 January 1887. She departed from Plymouth on vessel "Port Victor" in 1886 and arrived at Sydney, New South Wales;
     "family statements say that they travelled on the ship 'Victor' and settled in Goulburn, N.S.W. where William and Mary Holloway had settled a little time before. A check on Passenger Lists shows that a ship, 'The Port Victor' arrived in N.S.W. from Plymouth, England on 8 July 1887. There are no other refs. to the name 'Victor' in the lists of about this time.3

     Around 1901 "Blanche moved to Sydney, first married Sid Minewright, lost first husband and later married again." - Mervyn Holloway.4
