     No evidence of their Marriage has been located in Staffordshire Parish Records, in the G.R.O. Marriage Index nor in the Staffordshire BMD lists...⁶

     Elizabeth Bailey accompanied William Bailey and emigrated to Australia in 1870. They departed from Liverpool travelling on vessel "Flying Cloud" on 4 June 1870 and arrived at Maryborough on 2 September 1870; This passage is described as 'one of the fastest on record.⁷'

     It is not yet known when and why the family returned to England, but they probably travelled after the birth of their son Arthur.
     I note that during the family's probable time back in England, William's father - Barnabas Bailey, died. It would be nice to speculate that William would have been able to attend the funeral, as almost certainly he and Elizabeth would have visited their Birth villages at sometime.⁸

     Elizabeth Bailey accompanied William Bailey and emigrated to Australia in 1885. They departed from London travelling on vessel the "Duke of Sutherland" on 25 August 1885 and arrived at Maryborough on 16 October 1885.⁷

     Elizabeth Bailey was left a Widow at the age of 44, on the death of her husband, William on 14 July 1888 in Crofton Street, Bundaberg, Queensland, Australia.

     I have noted that some Genealogies have recorded that Elizabeth Harvey was also Married to a Charles Harvey on 10 February 1863.
     It is my opinion that that Elizabeth Harvey was Born in February 1841 as the daughter of another William Harvey but who was married to Hannah Brown.¹¹
