     Henry Jackson, son of Samuel Jackson and Sarah Radford, died in 1866 in Derby, Derbyshire, his Death was Registered at the Derby Register Office in the Jan-Feb-Mar Quarter of 1866,     (his wife is described as 'Widow' in the 1871 Census.)
     He was survived by his wife, Fanny.⁵

     Mary Ann Bassano, daughter of Mark Anthony Bassano and Elisabeth Burton, was born in Ashbourne, Derbyshire, on Tuesday, 25 October 1791.¹
     She was Baptised on Friday, 27 January 1792 in St. Oswald's Church, Ashbourne, Derbyshire .

     Mary Ann Bassano, daughter of Mark Anthony Bassano and Elisabeth Burton, was married to Samuel Jackson, son of Samuel Jackson and Sarah Radford, on Monday, 26 December 1814 at St. Peter's Church, Derby, Derbyshire.
     St. Peter's Church Marriage Register - "Entry #96 - Samuel Jackson of this Parish and Mary Bassano of this Parish were Married by Banns this 26th. day of December 1814
     Both Samuel and Mary made their X Mark and Witnessed by Wm. Barton X his Mark and Elizabeth Bassano."³

     Mary Ann Jackson was left a Widow on the Death of her husband, Samuel, whose Death was Registered in the Shardlow Registration District, in the Oct-Nov-Dec Qtr. of 1860.⁶

     Mary is recorded as living alone on the U.K.Census of 7 April 1861 at Alvaston Street, Alvaston, Derbyshire. This Census included Mary, as the only resident in the Household, as follows:

     Mary Ann Jackson, daughter of Mark Anthony Bassano and Elisabeth Burton, died in October 1866 in Alvaston, Derbyshire, her Death was Registered at the Shardlow Register Office in the Oct-Nov-Dec Quarter of 1866.⁸

     She was buried at Alvaston, Derbyshire, on Sunday, 28 October 1866.
