In June 2003 "Also, thanks to the 1881 & 1901 census` online, I`ve found John & Rebecca`s daughter Patience, who married Thomas Gent(born Codnor) at Alfreton, 28 July 1872. Thomas was a Blacksmith Fitter for the railways, hence the family moved about the Country. In 1881, the Gents were living at Wortley in Bramley, Yorks and in 1901, they were at Ince-in-Makerfield, Wigan, Lancs. Known Children - William, born @1873 Somercotes; John, born @1874 Somercotes; Rosamund born @1876 Tupton, Derbys; Alfred, born @1878 (---?) Derbys; Arthur, born @ 1880 (---?)Derbys. This finding came as a very welcome surprise. Peter`s family knew that Richard & Emma and their children had gone to live at Wigan @1893 to 1904, but, strangely, even those children who were born there, none of them knew why. Now we know that Richard and family had gone to stay with Richard`s older sister!" Janet Kirk - June 24 2003(:CR.)1
