Henry Jackson
ID# 39011, born around 1630, died 1681
Henry Jackson was born around 1630,
The Birthdate of this Henry Jackson is so far UNKNOWN to me, entered in purely speculation and only as a 'place-setter'. Further research will have to be done to establish 'the Facts'.1
Henry Jackson was married to Alice Toplis on Sunday, 20 April 1664 at Duffield, Derbyshire.
Henery Jackson of Corley and Alice Toplis of Shottle were Married.2
Henry Jackson died in 1681,"No Birth/Baptism/Death/Details are known, entered on the basis of his Will of 23 May 1681 of Roston."1
Henry Jackson wrote his Will on 23 May 1681. This Will is quite difficult to interpret and I have extracted only the Names of the Beneficiaries for inclusion here :-
Wife Alice (could she then have married the 2nd Henry Jackson of Roston after her husband's Death?)
Nephew John Jackson of Derby.
Brother Thomas Jackson. is Sarah his wife? otherwise Henry would surely specified her as his sister.
Thomas Jackson's unnamed children.
Niece Anne and Nephew William (surname not deciphered)
?Cousin John Jackson of Scropton?
William Toplis.
There are also Bequests to various local Churches for distribution by the Ministers and Church Wardens.
Like the other Henry he doesn't seem to have any children and doesn't mention the Jacksons included in the later Will.3
