Their Marriage was recorded in the Bermondsey Registration District in the Apr-May-Jun Quarter of 1864.5

I can only speculate that this Marriage is correct as it is the only one registered between a Reuben and Eliza between 1861 and 1865. To back this up there is an Eliza Miller listed on the 1861 Census at Hatton, which is only a short distance from where Reuben was in 1861. It is therefore possible that they knew each other.6

Reuben Matthew Tipper was left a Widower on the Death of his wife, Eliza, whose Death was Registered in the Stoke on Trent Registration District, in the Apr-May-Jun Quarter of 1865.7

Reuben Matthew Tipper was married to Ann (Annie) Glover on Wednesday, 14 March 1866 at St. Luke's Church, Wellington, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, Stoke on Trent, Reuben Tipper, of Full Age, Widower, Accountant of Wellington, son of George Tipper, Farmer and Annie Glover, of Full Age, Widow, of Wellington, daughter of George Weaver, Ironmonger (Both Signed, Reuben - stylishly!).8,9,10
