     St. John the Baptist Church Marriage Register - "Entry #11 - Henry Bull, Cotton Spinner of this Parish and Elizabeth Beresford of the same Parish. Married this 26 day of June in the year 1797, by me, Thomas Gell, Curate. Solemnized between us - Henry Bull his x mark and Elizabeth Beresford her x mark, in the presence of Ann Riley her x mark and Thomas James."1

     Elizabeth died on Saturday, 17 April 1841 in Mayfield, Staffordshire, Ashbourne..
     The details from the Death Certificate are - Entry #77 - Elizabeth Bull, aged 79 years, widow of Henry Bull, Labourer. Cause of Death - Decline. Informant - 'the mark of Elizabeth x Hough, Present at the Death, of Mayfield' on 19 of April 1841..2
