The funeral of the late Mrs. Amy Eleanor Bull, wife of Mr. H. B. Bull (John), of the Signal Station, Rottnest Island, took place in the Methodist portion of the Fremantle Cemetery yesterday afternoon.
The Rev. B. K Saggers officiated at the graveside. The late Mrs. Bull was born at Eastham London, England, and resided in Western Australia for 22 years. She lived at Fremantle and Rottnest Island most of that period. For some time she was an active worker on the social committee of the East Fremantle Football Club, and her genial disposition won for her the affection of all with, whom she came in contact. Mrs. Bull suffered ill-health for the past ten years. She leaves a husband, a Son and a Daughter to mourn their loss. The chief mourners were Messrs. H. B. Bull (widower), Harold Bull (son) and Mrs. E. Hoyles (sister). The pall-bearers were Mr. VT. H. Eitson, M.L.O. (East Fremantle Football Club, Captain C. H. Nicholas (Harbour Master), and Mr. J. R. Broadfoot. Mechanical Engineer (Fremantle Harbour Trust), Captain W. B. Clack and Captain H. S. Steer (Pilot Service), Messrs. E. Ray (Signal Station), F. Sweetman (s.s. Lady Forrest), C. Fletcher (s.s. Ivanhoe), D. Lukey (Wembley Athletic Club) and J. W. Marshall.
