     St. Peter's Church Marriage Register - "Annie Laurina Tipper, aged 21 years, a Spinster of 106 Richmond Street, daughter of Henry Edward Tipper, a Butcher was Married to Albert Edward Coomer, aged 20 years, a Bachelor, a Clerk of 106 Richmond Street, son of George Coomer, a Potter's Manager. Both Signed, Witnessed by Gladys Tipper and Fred Reynolds."1,2

     In the U.K.Census of 2 April 1911, Albert was recorded as residing at Fore Street, Mevagissey, Cornwall.
     Albert's listing is -
     Albert Coomer     Lodger     20     Single     Pianist     STS. Stoke on Trent (in the household of Ellen Mills, a widow and her daughter).3
     Albert joined the Royal Fusiliers on 04.09.1914 at the outbreak of WW1 and served in France from 1915. On attestation he gave his occupation as Clerk, his address 17 Haywood Street, Shelton, and his wife's name as "Cissie" of 106 Richmond Street. He was wounded in 1916 and spent 250 days in hospital before being invalided out in 1917 after amputation of his left leg. He received a pension.4

     Albert E. Coomer died in 1926 in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, his Death was Registered at the Stoke on Trent Register Office in the Jul-Aug-Sep Quarter of 1926, He was survived by his wife, Annie.5
