     In the 1900 US Census it is recorded that Enos Tipper was born in February 1853 in England, a Carpenter, living at 309 Sherbrooke Street, Cleveland, Ohio together with Sarah Tipper, born in April 1862 in England. They arrived in the U.S.A. in 1884, Enos is Naturalised but Sarah is not. Both are able to read and write, no children, owners of their house with a mortgage. Their niece Dora was with them in 1900.8
