Their Marriage was recorded in the Stockport Registration District in the Jul-Aug-Sep Quarter of 1928.1

Hannah Elizabeth Tipper was listed as an Executrix of the Will of Thomas Loton Tipper, which was Proved and Probate granted on the Estate on 24 February 1930 at Manchester
     Probate Register Entry -; Effects £6839 15s. 6d.
Thomas Loton Tipper of 224 City Road, Hulme, Manchester, died 29 August 1929. Probate granted at Manchester on 24 February 1930 to Hannah Elizabeth Tipper, Widow and Leonard Tipper, Builder.3

The question has to be asked whether Hannah did indeed bring a Cleaver to the marriage, as Thomas died within a year, leaving a very tidy sum. She was most likely the Hannah Cleaver, an Oldham Cotton Spinner aged 20 on the 1911 Census, making her about seventeen years younger than Thomas.
He was amongst the last bearers of the venerable "Loton" Tipper name which first appeared about 1700.
In 1935 ?= Hannah E Tipper remarried Q2 Barton, Manchester to Sydney L P Stoner.
A Sydney L P Stoner died Q4 1964 Conway, Wales aged 63; so she might be the Hannah E Stoner who died Q1 Brighton 1964 aged 80, but this is not definitive - if so Hannah appears to have gone for youth rather than money the second time around.4
