The Declaration inter-alia requires him to state that he renounces allegiance to George V, King of Great Britain & Northern Ireland, that he is not an Anarchist or Polygamist, nor does he believe in the practice of polygamy! The Declaration of his brother Ralph is adjoining - both appear to have understated their age.

     Alfred Fairgrieve Tipper, son of William Tipper and Isabella Fairgrieve, died on Friday, 27 February 1942 in the Royal Infirmary, Liverpool, Lancashire, his Death was Registered at the Liverpool South Register Office in the Jan-Feb-Mar Quarter of 1942,"a Public House Licensee of 154 Brick Street, Liverpool." He was survived by his wife, Jane.⁸
