     It should be noted that while Mabel Tipper's Birth Registration shows that she was probably illegitimate, her parentage is recorded, at her Baptism, as daughter of Edwin and Hilda Tipper. This Edwin is 'very probably' Edwin Kinsey, who was Boarding with the Tipper family at the time of the 1911 Census. The Baptism entry implies that he was a 'Tipper', but Edwin's occupation is correct for Edwin Kinsey in the 1901 and 1911 censuses.³

     Frances Tipper, daughter of George Heath and Ann Tipper, was born about 1815.
