          Joseph Wootton was a Witness of the Signatures at the Marriage of William Tipper and Mary Beech on 26 September 1813 in Wolstanton, Staffordshire,
     The details from the Marriage Certificate are - William Tipper, a Bachelor of this Parish, Labourer was Married to Mary Beech, a Spinster of this Parish; he signed laboriously, she marked. Witnessed by Susanna Tipper and Joseph Wootton, both marked.1

     Joseph Wootton was married to Susannah Tipper, daughter of Daniel Tipper and Mary Adams, on Saturday, 19 November 1814 at St. Bartholomew's Church, Norton in the Moors, Staffordshire.
     St. Bartholomew's Church Marriage Register - "Susannah Tipper and Joseph 'Wooten', both of this Parish, both signed with their marks. Witnessed by Hugh Hales and Wm. Ball."2,3

     Joseph Wootton died in 1845 in Staffordshire, his Death was Registered at the Wolstanton Register Office in the Oct-Nov-Dec Quarter of (an unknown value), He was survived by his wife, Susannah.4
