Sarah Selby, daughter of Luke Needham and Harriet Roome, died on Sunday, 4 June 1916, in Derby, Derbyshire, she was survived by her husband William Henry Selby.1
She was buried at Uttoxeter Road Cemetery, Derby, Derbyshire, on Wednesday, 7 June 1916.

"In 1891, Sarah lived with her grandparents at 83 Arthur Street.
Sarah died of TB. When Samuel Selby wrote his will, he mentioned her ill health.
Cousin Bryan says that according to Aunty Winn, my Mum & Aunty Madge took her up to Manchester (on the train) to see quack doctors in her last year.."1
