     St. James' Church Marriage Register - "Entry #125 - Howard Harrison Tipper, 24, Bachelor, General Dealer of Longton, son of Thomas Tipper, Saddler and Miriam Turner, 20, Spinster of Longton, daughter of John Turner, Shoe Manufacturer were Married by Licence.
     Both Signed the Register and Witnessed by John Turner and Elizabeth Carr.."2,3

     Miriam Tipper died in 1874, in Cape Town area, Western Province, South Africa,"Volume:     6/9/146     Master's Office / Orphan Chamber, Cape Town     Ref: 39", she was survived by her husband Howard Harrison Tipper.4
