John's birth, parentage and marriage are not known - there are IGI/LDS entries giving his birth as c1519 and marriage as c1538, which are purely speculative (the marriage may predate the earliest Register in 1537; they also give John's parents as Thomas and Helen ( evidence not known) - but he is not with the family in 1532-3.1
